Goatika Creative Lab
In August 2004, Alan Parsons produced the track Return to Tunguska, written and recorded together with David Gilmour and Simon Posford for the album A Valid Path. For me it was a landmark event, to combine three generations of psychedelic music. I thought: "Well, finally!"
Goatika Creative Lab is on a similar mission. They also combine the elements that can be and should have been combined a long time ago: goa trance, "intelligent rock" like King Crimson, and art-jazz (I know it's a made-up term. What I mean is basically music along the lines of the Mahavishnu Orchestra).
Many good people have joined Goatika's project, for example: Tony Levin, George Brooks,
Moscowgroovesinstitute. Their albums are produced by the masterful OTT.
Recently, they started a new project,
AIR-GOATIKA, featuring the surreal voice of Pascale Caristo: http://air-goatika.kroogi.com/content/show/769931?album_id=769053
Anyway, check it out. :)
