The story of the single’s title track "Ready" is a long and scandalous one. First introduced back in 2009, BARTO’s "Ready" quickly became a fan favorite. But after the Pushkin Square events of August 2010 and the sociopolitical unrest that ensued, the rebellious track forced the band members into the political arena. And as Russian police officials searched high and low for proof of the existence of extremist messages, supposedly hidden in the track’s lyrics, "Ready" was on its way to becoming the opposition’s unofficial anthem.
