World Music Group Yeh Dede Joins Kroogi
The group, whose name means "to make noise" in the Ghana language of Twi, is an all-female World Music Fusion band from Los Angeles. Their unique blend of percussion and vocals lends a new sound to music from West Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America.
Check out their new album, Freedom, and contribute!
At a time when bands may consist of as many instruments that will fit into a studio and a laptop or two onstage, Yeh Dede proves that all you may really need are some powerful words and a steady beat.
